Zack Collins idle for Pirates on Wednesday
Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Zack Collins is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Luis Cessa and the Cincinnati Reds.
Collins has gone 0-for-20 with eight strikeouts while starting six of the last seven games. Ben Gamel will replace Collins on first base and bat out of the cleanup spot.
Gamel has a $6,500 salary on the single-game slate and our models project him for 11.8 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Pirates' implied total (3.82) is No. 9 in the majors today.
