Todd Frazier gets stitches on lip, day-to-day for White Sox

Chicago White Sox third baseman Todd Frazier needed five stitches to fix a cut on his lower lip.

What It Means:

Frazier suffered the cut Wednesday when he dove into the stands in Arlington, Texas while trying to chase down a foul ball and knocked his mouth on a seat. The third baseman is considered day-to-day. He slugged his 11th home run of the season Wednesday before exiting for Carlos Sanchez.

Frazier is slashing just .218/.300/.474 with a .331 wOBA, but the power is there. He has 10 home runs and a .256 Isolated Power. Our models currently project him to hit .258/.332/.482 with a .347 wOBA and 24 home runs over the remaining course of the season.
