Aaron Hicks sitting for Yankees Monday
The New York Yankees did not include Aaron Hicks in their lineup for Monday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Hicks will sit out Monday's game as Giancarlo Stanton rejoins the starters at designated hitter and bats fifth. Oswaldo Cabrera will cover Hicks' spot in left field and Aaron Judge will move from designated hitter to right field.
Hicks' 427 plate appearances this season are his most since 2018. He has 8 home runs, 50 runs, 39 RBI, 10 stolen bases, and a .218 batting average.
