Breslow had allowed 21 hits and 9 runs -- 7 earned -- over 14 innings this season out of the Miami bullpen. The veteran lefty could draw some interest on waivers, but he hasn't really been an effective major league reliever since the 2013 campaign.

Breslow's 5.52 xFIP ranked 11th worst among qualified relievers this season and he hasn't posted a xFIP of below 4.37 since 2012. His 11.1 strikeout percentage was easily a career low and was 9th worst among relievers in 2016.
