Angel Pagan (hamstring) should return this weekend for Giants
San Francisco Giants outfielder Angel Pagan (hamstring) should return this weekend, manager Bruce Bochy said Wednesday.
Pagan hasn't played since May 1 due to a hamstring strain, but the Giants have stayed hopeful and kept him off the disabled list. The veteran outfielder ran the bases and did agility drills Tuesday without experiencing renewed discomfort. Jarrett Parker, Gregor Blanco, and Mac Williamson have all been drawing starts in left field.
Pagan was off to a good start prior to getting hurt, slashing .315/.366/.457 with 2 home runs and a .354 wOBA. Our models currently project him to hit .265/.321/.351 with 3 home runs, 11 steals, and a .296 wOBA.
