New York Mets first baseman Dan Vogelbach is not starting in Friday's game against the Oakland Athletics.
Vogelbach will sit in Oakland after Mark Vientos was named New York's designated hitter.
Per Baseball Savant on 264 batted balls this season, Vogelbach has produced a 10.6% barrel rate and a .353 expected weighted on-base average.
