C.J. Cron (hand) sitting Thursday for Colorado
Colorado Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron (hand) is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander John Brebbia and the San Francisco Giants.
Cron made an early exit from Wednesday's game after being hit in the hand by a pitch. X-rays came back negative, but he will miss at least a game. Mike Toglia will cover first base on Thursday while Randal Grichuk rotates over to right field and bats third. Yonathan Daza will replace Cron in the lineup to play center field and bat second.
Toglia has a $2,700 salary on Thursday and numberFire’s models project him for 11.7 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rockies have the second-highest implied total (5.42) in the majors today.
