Los Angeles Angels infielder Livan Soto is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Martin Perez and the Texas Rangers.
Soto will sit after starting four straight games. Luis Rengifo will shift to shortstop while Michael Stefanic makes a start on second base and bats eighth.
