Michael Chavis riding pine Wednesday for Pirates
Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Michael Chavis is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against right-hander Luis Severino and the New York Yankees.
Chavis is out of the lineup for the second time in three games amid an 0-for-10, four-strikeout stretch over his last three games. Zack Collins will replace Chavis on first base and bat eighth.
Collins has a $2,000 salary on Wednesday and numberFire’s models project him for 8.4 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Pirates’ implied total (2.88) is the lowest in the majors today.
