Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Shane McClanahan (neck) was forced to leave Tuesday's game against the Houston Astros.
After experiencing left neck tightness, McClanahan was unable to finish the fifth inning. With his recent return from the 15-day injured list last week with recent left shoulder impingement, today's ailment is certainly concerning.
In 154.0 innings this season, McClanahan has recorded a 32.3% strikeout percentage and a 2.51 expected earned run average.
