Astros station Jason Castro on paternity leave
Houston Astros catcher Jason Castro was placed on the paternity leave list.
What It Means:
Castro will be away from the Astros for a couple of days to welcome a new child. Max Stassi has been called up from Triple-A Fresno to provide depth behind the plate.
Castro has a .195/.333/.364 slash with a .318 wOBA in 93 plate appearances this season. He's accounted for two home runs and seven RBI's.
