White Sox' David Robertson charged with a blown save
Chicago White Sox closer David Robertson was tagged with his second blown save of the season when he was charged with one run over 1 1/3 frames in an extra-innings win over the Texas Rangers.
He actually blew the lead twice. Robertson allowed a game-tying double after relieving Nate Jones in the eighth inning and then gave up an RBI single to Hanser Alberto in the bottom of the ninth after the White Sox had re-taken the lead in the top of the frame.
While not a great effort from Robertson, he still has 10 saves this season while putting up a 1.23 ERA and 30.4 strikeout percentage. We project him to record 35 more saves with a 2.38 ERA over the rest of the season.
