Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Matt Vierling is not in the lineup Saturday in the team's game against the Washington Nationals.
Vierling is being replaced in center field by Brandon Marsh versus Nationals starter Erick Fedde.
In 295 plate appearances this season, Vierling has a .232 batting average with a .617 OPS, 5 home runs, 35 runs, 23 RBI and 7 stolen bases.
