Kansas City Royals infielder Michael Massey is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Detroit Tigers.
Massey will move to the bench on Friday with Hunter Dozier starting at third base. Dozier will bat sixth versus left-hander Joey Wentz and Detroit.
