Oakland Athletics infielder Vimael Machin will bat leadoff on Wednesday afternoon against right-hander Spencer Strider and the Atlanta Braves.
Machin hit sixth on Tuesday, but he will cover the leadoff role for the matinee while Tony Kemp takes a seat. Seth Brown will bat second and Ramon Laureano will drop to fifth.
