Giancarlo Stanton (foot) sidelined Wednesday for Yankees in Game 1
New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton (foot) is not in the starting lineup against right-hander Louie Varland and the Minnesota Twins in Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader.
Stanton is sidelined after he fouled a ball off his foot during Monday's game and left early. Aaron Judge will cover the designated hitter role in Game 1 while Estevan Florial enters the lineup to play center field and hit seventh.
Florial has a $2,000 salary on Wednesday and numberFire’s models project him for 6.7 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Yankees’ implied total (4.05) is No. 14 in the majors today.
