Rangers' Bobby Wilson launches grand slam against former team
Texas Rangers catcher Bobby Wilson launched a grand slam in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Detroit Tigers.
Ah, the poetry. Wilson was traded from the Tigers to the Rangers on May 3. Just five days later, he made Detroit pay. The 33-year-old backstop cranked a grand slam off Tigers' reliever Mark Lowe in the eighth inning to help propel his new club to victory.
Despite the heroics, Wilson holds a .203/.266/.299 slash line for his major league career and can be safely avoided in all fantasy formats.
