The Los Angeles Dodgers claimed relief pitcher Casey Fien off of waivers from the Minnesota Twins.
Fien had carved out a role as a setup man in the Twins bullpen in recent years. The Dodgers will see if they can salvage something here.
Fien has posted a troublesome 7.90 ERA and 1.76 WHIP across his first 14 outings in 2016. On the bright side, he has a 19.1 percent Strikeout Rate and a 4.8 Walk Rate, and his 6.73 FIP is more than a full point lower than his ERA.
