C.J. Abrams sitting Thursday for Nationals
Washington Nationals infielder C.J. Abrams is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Ken Waldichuk and the Oakland Athletics.
Abrams will take a seat for the day game after a night game. Ildemaro Vargas will shift to shortstop in place of Abrams and hit ninth while Cesar Hernandez starts on third base and bats sixth.
Hernandez has a $2,100 salary on Thursday and numberFire’s models project him for 9.3 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Nationals have an implied total of 4.06 and the over/under for the game is 8.0 runs.
