Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard is not in the Phillies' lineup Friday.
With the Marlins throwing southpaw Wei-Yin Chen, Howard is sitting in favor of Darin Ruf. Howard has just 13 plate appearances versus lefties this season and is batting .167/.154/.417. Ruf could make for a solid value play for Friday's DFS slate.
In total this season, Howard is hitting .193/.255/.443 with a .292 wOBA in 98 appearances. He has hit seven home runs, while recording 14 RBI's.
