Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran has been sent down to Triple-A Saturday.
Trevor Story is making his long-awaited return from the injured list. As a result, the team had to make room on the 26-man active roster, and Duran was a casualty of that.
In 219 plate appearances this season, Duran has a .220 batting average with a .648 OPS, 3 home runs, 23 runs, 17 RBI and 7 stolen bases.
