Billy Hamilton is getting the night off Tuesday. As a result, Marlon Byrd is sliding over the center field and Skip Schumaker is starting in left field and batting eighth.
What It Means:
Hamilton is just one-for-twelve since baseball resumed from the All-Star break, and is hitting just .215/.264/.279 on the season. With that said, he does lead the majors with 45 stolen bases (52 attempts), but has the worst nERD on the team, at -1.59. His replacement, Skip Schumaker, isn't much better of an option (.213/.299/.295 slash line), with a -0.77 nERD. Schumaker is not a fantasy option, ever.
