Miami Marlins first baseman Garrett Cooper (concussion) is in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against left-hander Tyler Anderson and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Marlins activated Cooper from the injured list Friday after he missed the past nine days with a concussion. He will start on first base and fifth in Friday's opener. Jesus Aguilar was designated for assignment to clear a roster spot for Cooper.
Cooper has a $2,200 salary on Friday and numberFire’s models project him for 8.9 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Marlins’ implied total (3.07) is second-lowest out of the 30 active teams today.
