Mike Ford called up, batting cleanup Thursday for Angels
Los Angeles Angels first baseman/designated hitter Mike Ford is in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Drew Rasmussen and the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Angels called up Ford from Triple-A Salt Lake to replace Phil Gosselin (DFA) on the roster. Ford will start on first base and bat cleanup on Thursday afternoon.
Ford has a $2,000 salary on Thursday and numberFire’s models project him for 6.3 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Angels’ implied total (3.11) is second-lowest out of the 18 active teams today.
