Detroit Tigers infielder Zack Short is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Logan Webb and the San Francisco Giants.
Willi Castro will shift to second base in place of Short while Victor Reyes rolls over to right field and bats second. Akil Baddoo will start in left field and bat ninth.
