Michael Chavis sitting Wednesday for Pirates' matinee
Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Michael Chavis is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Kyle Wright and the Atlanta Braves.
Chavis will grab a seat after starting the last three games. Josh VanMeter will replace Chavis on first base and bat eighth.
JVM has a $2,100 salary on Wednesday and numberFire’s models project him for 6.6 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Pirates’ implied total (3.39) is tied for fifth-lowest out of the 28 active teams today.
