San Francisco Giants infielder J.D. Davis is not starting in Tuesday's lineup against the Detroit Tigers.
Davis will watch from the bench after the Giants named Brandon Belt as Tuesday's starting first baseman.
Per Baseball Savant on 144 batted balls this season, Davis has recorded a 16% barrel rate and a .357 expected weighted on-base average.
