Stephen Drew (rest) out of lineup Tuesday
Yankees infielder Stephen Drew is not in the lineup on Tuesday night against the Orioles. Brendan Ryan is batting ninth and playing second base in his place.
It's a regular day off for the lefty Drew, who's actually hitting slightly better, but still terribly against left-handed pitchers (.215/.278/.369) than he is against right, but Girardi still decided to give him the day off today. Ryan has a career slash line of .246/.311/.324 against lefties, so you can ignore him tonight.
