Owen Miller out of Guardians' lineup Friday
Cleveland Guardians infielder Owen Miller is not in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against right-hander Lance Lynn and the Chicago White Sox.
Josh Naylor will shift to first base in place of Miller and hit out of the cleanup spot. Nolan Jones will enter the lineup to be the designated hitter and No. 7 batter.
Naylor has a $3,100 salary on Friday and numberFire’s models project him for 10.7 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Guardians’ implied total (3.95) is No. 15 on the Main slate. Among the listed starters, Lynn has the second-lowest walk rate this season (3.9%).
