DJ LeMahieu (toe) leading off for Yankees on Thursday
New York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu (toe) is in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against right-hander Jose Berrios and the Toronto Blue Jays.
LeMahieu injured his toe during Sunday night's game and the Yankees held him out of all three lineups for their series against the Tampa Bay Rays this week. However, he did go 1-for-1 as a pinch-hitter on Wednesday. LeMahieu will be back on second base and bat leadoff for Thursday's opener. Gleyber Torres will shift into the designated hitter job and bat sixth. Josh Donaldson will be on the hot corner and batting cleanup.
DJLM has a $3,200 salary on Thursday and numberFire’s models project him for 11.3 FanDuel points. Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Yankees' implied total (4.66) is second-highest out of 10 teams on the Main slate.
