Jesus Aguilar joining Marlins' bench Wednesday
Miami Marlins designated hitter Jesus Aguilar is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Mike Clevinger and the San Diego Padres.
The Marlins appear to be giving Aguilar a breather after six straight starts. Nick Fortes will shift into the DH role and bat fifth. Jacob Stallings will catch for Pablo Lopez and bat eighth.
Stallings has a $2,200 salary on Wednesday and numberFire’s models project him for 7.1 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Marlins’ implied total (3.21) is fourth-lowest in the majors today.
