TJ Friedl recalled by Reds, hitting seventh Tuesday
Cincinnati Reds outfielder TJ Friedl is in the starting lineup on Tuesday against right-hander Kyle Gibson and the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Reds recalled Friedl from Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday to replace Donovan Solano (paternity) on the active roster. Friedl will start in left field and bat seventh in Tuesday's contest. Jake Fraley will be the designated hitter and leadoff batter.
