Guardians' Nolan Jones sitting versus Blue Jays Sunday
The Cleveland Guardians did not list Nolan Jones in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Jones will take a seat Sunday while Oscar Gonzalez covers right field, Jose Ramirez starts at designated hitter, and Tyler Freeman, who will bat seventh, starts at third base.
Jones started the season off hot, but has cooled off in the heat of the summer. He's batting .266 with a .738 OPS on the season, with 2 home runs, 10 runs, and 13 RBI in 87 plate appearances thus far.
