Kansas City Royals first baseman Hunter Dozier is not starting in Friday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Dozier will rest on Friday night after Bobby Witt Jr. was announced as Friday's starting third baseman.
Per Baseball Savant on 262 batted balls this season, Dozier has recorded a 8% barrel rate and a .312 expected weighted on-base average.
