Eduardo Escobar on Mets' bench Wednesday afternoon
New York Mets infielder Eduardo Escobar is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander T.J. Zeuch and the Cincinnati Reds.
Escobar will take a seat after starting on third base in the first two games of the series. Luis Guillorme will be on the hot corner and Jeff McNeil will play second base, with Mark Canha moving to left field and down to the seven-hole. Brandon Nimmo will return to center field and leadoff duties.
Canha has a $2,600 salary on Wednesday and numberFire’s models project him for 10.7 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets’ implied total (5.72) is second-highest in the majors on Wednesday.
