New York Yankees catcher Jose Trevino is sitting Saturday in the team's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Trevino is being replaced behind the plate by Kyle Higashioka versus Cardinals starter Jordan Montgomery.
In 221 plate appearances this season, Trevino has a .264 batting average with a .760 OPS, 10 home runs, 29 runs, 34 RBI and 2 stolen bases.
