Greg Allen grabbing seat Friday for Pirates
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Greg Allen is not in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against right-hander Dean Kremer and the Baltimore Orioles.
Allen will return to the bench while Bryan Reynolds shifts to center field and Ben Gamel takes over as the designated hitter. Tucupita Marcano will move out to left field and be the leadoff batter again while Kevin Newman returns to second base and bats sixth.
Reynolds is currently numberFire's top point-per-dollar value among projected hitters on Friday's Main slate. He has a $2,800 salary and our models project him for 14.5 FanDuel points.
