William Contreras on Braves' bench Thursday
Atlanta Braves catcher William Contreras is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against right-hander Carlos Carrasco and the New York Mets.
Contreras will grab a seat after starting the previous four contests. Travis d'Arnaud, who sat out Wednesday with an illness, will catch for Kyle Wright and hit sixth.
d'Arnaud has a $2,800 salary on Thursday and numberFire’s models project him for 7.0 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Braves’ implied total (3.87) is No. 17 in the majors on Thursday out of 24 active teams.
