David Fletcher finding seat for Angels Thursday afternoon
Los Angeles Angels infielder David Fletcher is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Paul Blackburn and the Oakland Athletics.
Fletcher will find a spot in the dugout after he was the leadoff hitter for the first two games of the series. Luis Rengifo will take over on the keystone while Taylor Ward moves into the leadoff spot. Jose Rojas will make a start on third base and handle cleanup duty.
Ward has a $3,000 salary on Thursday and numberFire’s models project him for 11.1 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Angels’ implied total (4.06) is No. 15 out of 24 active teams.
