San Francisco Giants outfielder Luis Gonzalez is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Clayton Kershaw and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Gonzalez extended his hitting streak to five games on Wednesday, but the Giants are giving him a breather for the day game after a night game. Austin Slater will shift to left field while Mike Yastrzemski starts in right and hits third. Bryce Johnson will be in center field for San Francisco.
Yastrzemski has a $2,700 salary on Thursday and numberFire’s models project him for 10.6 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Giants have the third-lowest implied total (3.32) in the majors on Thursday.
