The New York Yankees traded outfielder Joey Gallo the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday.
The Yankees received relief prospect Clayton Beeter as compensation. Gallo will provide the Dodgers with another left-handed bat down the stretch and likely play a part-time role.
Gallo averaged 7.3 FanDuel points per game for the Yankees this season while slashing .159/.282/.339 with 12 homers, 24 RBI, and 32 runs scored across 273 plate appearances (82 games).
