Guardians' Oscar Gonzalez (intercostal) activated Tuesday, hitting seventh
Cleveland Guardians outfielder Oscar Gonzalez (intercostal) is in the starting lineup on Tuesday against right-hander Zac Gallen and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Guardians activated Gonzalez from the 10-day injured list Tuesday after he missed over a month. He will replace Nolan Jones in right field and hit seventh. Franmil Reyes is expected to be sent down to Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding roster move.
Gonzalez has a $2,000 salary on Tuesday and numberFire’s models project him for 7.5 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Guardians’ implied total (3.97) is No. 13 in the majors on Tuesday.
