Cal Mitchell moving to Pittsburgh dugout Friday
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Cal Mitchell is not in the starting lineup on Friday against left-hander Bailey Falter and the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Pirates appear to be giving Mitchell a routine breather after he started at designated hitter in Monday's series opener. Yoshi Tsutsugo will take over at DH and bat eighth. Ben Gamel, Greg Allen, and Diego Castillo will start across Pittsburgh's outfield on Friday.
Tsutsugo has a $2,200 salary on Friday and numberFire’s models project him for 6.0 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Pirates’ implied total (3.90) is No. 16 in the majors on Friday.
