Chris Devenski starting for Astros on Thursday
Houston Astros pitcher Chris Devenski will start Thursday against the Seattle Mariners.
Devenski made his major league debut Saturday against the Oakland Athletics and gave up two runs over five innings. The Astros made no promises beyond that, but the performance was enough for him to keep a rotation spot over Scott Feldman in the short-term. He's worth keeping around in AL-only leagues for now.
Devenski has pitched a total of 18 2/3 innings this season, recording a 1.45 ERA with a 1.07 WHIP and 22.54 strikeout percentage.
