Maikel Franco idle again Monday for Nationals
Washington Nationals infielder Maikel Franco is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Tony Gonsolin and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
What It Means:
Franco is sidelined for a second straight game after he went 1-for-6 with a pair of whiffs in the first two games out of the break. Ehire Adrianza will make another start on third base and bat eighth.
