Minnesota Twins pitcher Tommy Milone has been moved to the bullpen.
We reported earlier that Milone might have his next start skipped, but apparently he'll be removed from the rotation altogether. Milone has posted a 5.40 ERA over 4 starts this season. Ricky Nolasco will move up to start Sunday and Alex Meyer will replace Milone in the rotation.
Despite the high ERA, Milone has a decent 3.52 xFIP, and a 20.0 strikeout percentage in his 20 innings pitched this season. Our models projected Milone to record a 4.21 ERA and a 15.2 strikeout percentage in 107 innings pitched this season, prior to his demotion to the bullpen.
