Athletics calling up Jesse Hahn to start Saturday
Oakland Athletics pitcher Jesse Hahn will be called up to start Saturday against the Houston Astros, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
What It Means:
It was previously reported Hahn wouldn't be called up this weekend due to a blister, but he's apparently feeling better. Sean Manaea is making his major league debut Friday, so it's unclear who Hahn will bump from the rotation. Chris Bassitt is probably the most likely candidate.
Hahn owns a 2.04 ERA in four starts this season at the Triple-A level. In 92 2/3 big league innings last season, Hahn posted a 3.90 xFIP.
