Bryan De La Cruz on Marlins' bench Wednesday
Miami Marlins outfielder Bryan De La Cruz is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against right-hander Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Angels.
De La Cruz went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's win over the Angels, but he's grabbing a seat after starting the last four games. Jon Berti, who was held out the past two games due to lower-body tightness, is replacing De La Cruz in left field and hitting leadoff.
numberFire’s models project Berti for 10.0 FanDuel points on Wednesday, and he has a $3,700 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Marlins' implied total (3.17) is fourth-lowest out of 28 active teams.
