Yadiel Hernandez a late add to Nationals' Tuesday lineup
Washington Nationals outfielder Yadiel Hernandez is starting Tuesday in the team's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Hernandez was originally slated to begin Tuesday's game on the bench. But that has changed with Nelson Cruz being scratched from the lineup. Now, Hernandez is getting the nod in left field, batting eighth in the order versus Phillies starter Christopher Sanchez.
In 219 plate appearances this season, Hernandez has a .266 batting average with a .714 OPS, 5 home runs, 19 runs, 31 RBI and 2 stolen bases.
