Oakland Athletics infielder Seth Brown is not in the lineup Tuesday in the team's game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Brown is being replaced at first base by Christian Bethancourt versus Blue Jays starter Yusei Kikuchi.
In 266 plate appearances this season, Brown has a .217 batting average with a .696 OPS, 10 home runs, 25 runs, 36 RBI and 7 stolen bases.
